A New Partner with a Code Name

Peter sits across from the man who has just introduced himself as his new partner. Unsure whether the assignment is legitimate, Peter calls Mosely and asks the stranger to enter his Night Action code. The code confirms his identity as an operative with the codename Harvestman.

When Mosely answers, Peter asks whether he approved a new partner. Mosely has no knowledge of the arrangement but instructs Peter to brief Harvestman while keeping him at a distance.

Since Peter’s kitchen is empty, the two head to a diner. Peter hands over the Suspicious Activity Reports and asks Harvestman to search for patterns while he meets with an asset.

Chelsea Under Scrutiny

At the White House, the body from the previous incident is wheeled away. Chelsea notices Jenny Hagan slip a phone into her desk. Before she can process what she saw, her supervisor places her on leave pending a psychological evaluation.

At home, Chelsea studies the timeline of the attack and questions why Mrs. Hagan waited eight minutes before calling for help.

Later, cleared to return, Chelsea attempts to question Jenny about the incident. Jenny insists she wants to forget everything and refuses to engage.

Isabel Targets Senator Lansing

Peter meets Isabel at the Register. Senator Lansing, one of Mike’s sources, has been avoiding him. Peter needs Isabel to leverage her press credentials.

Isabel contacts Lansing’s office and makes it clear that her reporting now points toward him since he was the last person Mike spoke to before his death. Lansing takes the call and instructs Isabel to meet him at the Barrow Valley Hunting Lodge.

Peter tells her he will meet her there.

A Lodge Full of Secrets

Isabel arrives at the hunting lodge and is escorted to her quarters. She learns that Lansing will meet her at seven in the evening.

Nearby, The Father and his young son set up camp in the woods. He promises the boy a fishing trip in the morning.

Peter arrives disguised as a prospective employee. Isabel immediately realizes he will not pass as a club member. She escorts him to the lodge shop and outfits him in clothing that will help him blend in. She explains that she understands wealth and knows how to recognize it.

Public Praise, Private Fury

Theo holds a press briefing about the First Lady’s near attack, crediting the Secret Service and publicly thanking Chelsea Arrington. Chelsea is furious. Her identity has now been exposed, and the official narrative does not match what happened.

Theo states that the decision came from the President and First Lady. Chelsea warns him to verify his facts before putting an agent’s name in the spotlight again.

The Night Agent Season 3 Episode 4 recap highlights how public image and private truth continue to diverge.

Dinner with a Senator

That evening, Isabel meets Senator Lansing for dinner. He attempts to charm her with promises of insider access, but she presses him about his Super PAC and its possible connection to the plane crash in Venezuela that killed 157 Americans.

Lansing warns her to stop digging and leaves. As he exits, he makes a call stating that Isabel did not accept the offer. Peter overhears the conversation and follows Lansing to a cabin called Anchor Point. He sees Lansing speaking with someone inside before narrowly avoiding security.

Orion in the Sky

In the woods, The Father and his son lie beneath the stars. The boy identifies constellations, including Orion the hunter. He asks whether his father has ever hunted. The Father quietly answers no.

Peter updates Isabel about Anchor Point. They agree to investigate cabin ownership the following morning.

Morning arrives. The Father instructs his son to remain in place and observe nature while he handles other matters.

A Trap in the Woods

At the lodge, Lansing meets Isabel and claims he does not feel safe speaking indoors. A worker mistakenly hands Lansing a rifle, assuming he is hunting. Lansing accepts it and walks with Isabel into the woods.

Peter accesses the rental office computer and discovers that Anchor Point is owned by John Hutson. He photographs the information and heads into the woods.

Meanwhile, The Father’s son quietly follows a buck through a gap in the fence onto Barrow Valley property.

Lansing tells Isabel she is making a serious mistake. She insists that truth is her only protection. Lansing apologizes, lifts the rifle, and takes aim. Peter intervenes before Lansing can fire.

A sniper shot rings out.

Lansing is killed instantly.

Peter and Isabel run.

The boy hears the gunfire and sees his father sprinting through the trees with a weapon.

Brakes Cut and Blood in the Snow

Peter and Isabel reach Peter’s car and speed away. A warning light flashes. Peter realizes the brakes have been cut.

The vehicle crashes.

Peter suffers a deep cut on his forehead. They abandon the car and flee into the woods as The Father fires at them.

Peter deliberately creates a blood trail to draw The Father away from Isabel. As The Father closes in and raises his weapon, Harvestman shoots and wounds him. Injured, The Father escapes into the trees.
