The film tells the story of a new couple and their families reckoning with modern love amid cultural clashes, societal expectations, and generational differences.

Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill, Lauren London, Julia Louis Dreyfus, David Duchovny, and Nia Long star, while Barris makes his directorial debut.
