Last week, we reported that director Antoine Fuqua was negotiating to bring Scarface back to the big screen. While those negotiations continue, Fuqua has closed a deal for his first television series, Ice.
Ice centers on the Green Family as they enter the world of Los Angeles’ diamond trade. Fuqua will direct the pilot episode and serve as executive producer. The original series is written and executive produced by Robert Munic of Fighting and The Cleaner. The 10-episode hourlong series is currently in production and will debut later this year.
