Tulsa King (Recap) | Tilting at Windmills (S2 E5)

by Greg Wheeler for The Review Geek

Episode 5 of Tulsa King season 2 starts with Tina nervous and wanting to make a good impression for the kids as they show at the local school. Dwight is there too, but the teacher is a little unnerved by Bigfoot’s appearance. Well, he’s just the driver and he soon leaves when Dwight heads in.

There’s an amusing clash of style and class when the teacher doesn’t believe in winners and losers. According to him “every child is a winner”. This doesn’t sit well with Dwight, and the more he sees of this place, the more alienated he becomes.

Meanwhile, Bodhi is off with Jimmy checking out the wind farm to make sure the repairs are still going okay. When he arrives, Bodhi bonds with one of the natives over their love of cannabis gummis.

At the same time, Donnie shares his secrets over at the auto-shop. The idea of him being a cowboy is all a big gimmick and was actually his wife’s idea. This is a big business ploy that seems to be working for them, and it has, evidently.

There’s trouble with Vince and Chickie though, as the former believes they should sit down with Dwight and try to hash this sticky situation out. Chickie though is more in the mood for starting war. When Chickie senses an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, he rallies the troops and prepares to head out. Vince and Chickie, in turn, tell Bevilaqua the plan. Dwight’s group are told the same afterwards by Goodie, with Atlanta being the meet spot.
