Tulsa King (Recap) | Heroes & Villains (S2 E4)

by Greg Wheeler for The Review Geek

Episode 4 of Tulsa King season 2 starts with Tyson jittery and heading home, a blood stain on his wrist. Bigfoot feeds the night’s events back to Dwight, telling him Tyson has done good, but it’s clear this may have affected him more than we know. He struggles to concentrate with his dad while fixing up the van.

Meanwhile, Jo is on edge. She reminds Dwight that they’re living in a fancy neighbourhood with a lot of security, and him rocking up with his muscle (Bigfoot) is not a great look. Jo recaps the events that have led up to this, confirming that Thresher’s people are going to hit back for the death of one of their own – and hit hard.

Chickie learns about Goodie’s betrayal and is immediately hassled by Bevilaqua. He’s pissed and he wants Dwight dead sooner rather than later. This is only compounded by his wife asking about Carl, bringing up how Linda (Carl’s wife) is worried as her husband never came home.

As for Dwight, he seems to realize just how much trouble he’s in and admits as much to Tyson, just for a moment, when he contemplates whether he could have cut a deal with him or not. This isn’t the speech he gives the team over at the weed shop though, as Tyson takes the reigns and gives a much better go of it. He discusses how they’re family and sometimes shit does hit the fan. And naturally, that’s what’s happening right now.

Despite Bodhi’s initial hesitance, he doesn’t back out of the business. At least not yet. They head up to a wind farm up north near Galena to strike their deal. This, naturally, is fed back to Thresher from Armand. Thresher is a hard-ass boss as we know, but he also plays by a specific set of rules. When one of his employees, Jackie, tries to grow heroin on his land, he immediately shuts it down.
