The first trailer for one of the year’s most anticipated films, The Justice League, has been released and we finally see the formation of DC’s mighty team of crime fighters together for the first time.
Months after the events of Batman v Superman and inspired by Superman’s sacrifice for humanity, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince assemble a team of metahumans – the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg – to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and the Parademons who are on the hunt for three Mother Boxes on Earth.
The film is the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe and is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio, from a story by Snyder and Terrio.
The film features an ensemble cast which includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen and J. K. Simmons.
The Justice League film storms into theaters on November 17.
