Move over Bruce Springsteen and Diana Ross, there is a new ‘Boss’ in town. The trailer for Melissa McCarthy’s new comedy, The Boss, has been posted online and she appears to be back in rare form.

In the film, McCarthy plays a rich-as-Croesus business titan who loses everything when she’s sent to jail for insider trading. Released several months later, she moves to rebuild her shattered empire, going up against the resistance of the people she screwed over and forced to rely on her put-upon former assistant.

Also co-starring in The Boss are Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage, and Kathy Bates. Ben Falcone directs from a script co-written by Falcone, McCarthy and Steve Mallory, based on her original idea. McCarthy and Falcone produce through their On the Day banner along with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy through their Gary Sanchez Productions banner.

The Boss opens in theaters April 8, 2016.
