The latest member of the upcoming Defenders posse, Marvel’s Jessica Jones is ready to make her debut on Netflix in less than two weeks. The trailer for the series is online and judging by the clips, it promises to be just as strong as its earlier counterpart, Marvel’s Daredevil.
The story centers on bad-ass, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) the former superhero-turned-private investigator. Following a tragic end to her brief superhero career, Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City.
In addition, the trailer reveals even more about the man who once terrorized her (David Tennant as Kilgrave) as well as the people in her life who just want to help (Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Rachael Harris as Trish Walker).
