Another new trailer that debuted last night during the BET Awards was for writer/director David E. Talbert’s romantic comedy, Baggage Claim. Here is the second trailer posted by Fox Searchlight.
The film centers on an attractive flight attendant who pledges to keep herself from being the oldest and the only woman in her entire family never to wed. Montana embarks on a thirty-day, thirty-thousand-mile expedition to charm a potential suitor into becoming her fiancé.
Whom will she choose? Damon Diesel, a P. Diddy wannabe; Reverend Curtis P. Merewether, pastor of Greater House of Deliverance, Tabernacle of Praise, Worship, and Miracles; pompous attorney-turned-councilman Langston Jefferson Battle III; or Quinton Jamison, a multimillionaire who’s twenty years her senior?

Paula Patton leads the ensemble cast, starring as our husband-seeking flight attendant. The ensemble cast includes Taye Diggs, Derek Luke, Trey Songz, Jill Scott, J Cole, Djimon Hounsou, Adam Brody, Boris Kodjoe, Tia Mowry, Lala Anthony and others.
The film’s release date was moved up to avoid what should be an unprecedented overcrowded slate of African-American films that will open in theaters this fall.
This will be Talbert’s first theatrically-released film since 2008’s First Sunday.
Baggage Claim opens in theaters on September 27, 2013.

Looks good.
to me, the best one out of the group seems to be Quinton Jamison, the multimillionaire, even if he is 20 years older. but then again, perhaps i’m just looking at the $$$, ca-ching.
