On the latest episode of Reel Shorts, writer/director/visionary Richard Linklater’s latest film is the coming-of-age, groundbreaking look at the life of a young boy in Texas in the fascinating drama, Boyhood!
The film tells a story of a divorced couple, Mason and Olivia, trying to raise their young son, Mason Jr. The story follows the boy for twelve years, from first grade at age 6 through twelfth grade at age 17-18, and examines his relationship with his parents as he grows.
Written and directed by Linklater, Boyhood stars Patricia Arquette, Ellar Coltrane, and Ethan Hawke.
