The adventures of Marty Kaan will continue, in light of the announcement that Showtime has renewed the hit show, House Of Lies for a fifth season.
The fourth-season followed Marty’s (Don Cheadle) brief stint in white-collar prison, which left the firm in shambles and a pregnant Jeannie (Kristen Bell) in charge of Clyde (Ben Schwartz), Doug (Josh Lawson), and a tainted Kaan & Associates.
Based on the tell-all book House Of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch And Tell You The Time by Martin Kihn, the series is created and executive produced by Matthew Carnahan. Jessika Borsiczky, Cheadle and David Walpert served as executive producers for the fourth season.
The series has earned star Cheadle both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for the past three years – every year that he has been eligible.
Showtime has renewed the dark comedy for a 10-episode fifth season to air in 2016. Can’t wait to see what misadventures Kaan & Associates get into next season.
