Marvel Studios continues to expand their footprint with their huge gallery of comic superhero characters. Zoe Saldana recently spoke about her role in the next huge studio super-film, Guardians of the Galaxy.
Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek films) gave some details while on the red carpet at the London premiere for Star Trek Into Darkness about playing Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions.
The film also stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, Ophelia Lovibond and Lee Pace.
Guardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters on August 1, 2014 release.
