The season has increasingly challenged Ted’s familiar approach to coaching the Lady Greyhounds. Alice has faced pressures of her own, while Richmond continues developing an identity that cannot simply reproduce what worked for the men’s team.
Now both Ted and Alice are being asked to do something that has always been central to Ted Lasso.

Ted Has to Leave His Comfort Zone
Ted returned to Richmond believing many of the principles that transformed AFC Richmond could help him build the Lady Greyhounds.
But Season 4 has steadily complicated that assumption.
This team has different personalities, pressures and expectations. Ted has had to adapt rather than simply recreate the culture he left behind.
The official setup for “Yes & Baby” says Ted will step outside his comfort zone, making Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 7 another test of whether Ted can evolve alongside the team he is trying to lead.
Sometimes belief means trusting what you already know.
Sometimes it means admitting you need another way forward.
Alice Faces Her Own Leap

Watch how Ted and Alice’s stories mirror one another, particularly if both are forced to abandon approaches that once made them comfortable.
Zelda’s role should also reveal more about how Richmond solves problems when Ted isn’t necessarily the person with the answer.
Most importantly, watch the Lady Greyhounds themselves.
Season 4 began with Ted returning to Richmond.
