The Big Wedding plot:

Don and Ellie Griffin, a long divorced couple, are forced to pretend that they are still happily married at their adopted son, Alejandro’s, wedding. His biological mother, a Catholic from Colombia, is also attending, and has not been told that her son’s foster parents got divorced. Among all of their family and friends, the hoax snowballs into a poignant and raucously funny story about the ties that bind.

It is an American remake of the original 2006 French film Mon frère se marie written by Jean-Stéphane Bron and Karine Sudan. It stars a large ensemble cast including Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Ben Barnes, Susan Sarandon, and Robin Williams.
