Writer/director David E. Talbert just posted the first images of the poster for his upcoming romantic comedy, Baggage Claim.
Based on Talbert’s novel, the film follows Montana Moore (Paula Patton) who has pledged to keep herself from being the oldest and the only woman in her entire family never to wed. She embarks on a thirty-day, thirty-thousand-mile expedition to charm a potential suitor into becoming her fiancé.
The synopsis and Patton’s involvement are similiar to her character’s journey at the onset of Jumping the Broom. We spoke with Talbert prior to filming and he was very excited about the potential of Patton’s performance and we can’t wait to see the film when it hits the screen later this fall.
In addition to Patton, the film co-stars Adam Brody, Djimon Hounsou, Taye Diggs, Christina Milian and Derek Luke.
Baggage Claim opens in theaters on September 27.
