Fans of the hit Hulu legal drama Reasonable Doubt have reason to celebrate. The series, created by Raamla Mohamed and executive produced by Kerry Washington, has officially been renewed for a fourth season. Over the past three seasons, the show has carved out a powerful space in television, combining the thrill of high-stakes courtroom battles with deeply layered personal drama.

At the center of it all is Emayatzy Corinealdi, who continues to shine as Jax Stewart, a brilliant defense attorney whose sharp instincts and fearless approach make her one of the most compelling characters on television. Corinealdi’s performance has anchored the series, bringing emotional honesty and quiet strength to a woman who is both commanding in the courtroom and vulnerable in her personal life.

Reasonable Doubt has succeeded because it goes beyond the legal genre’s familiar rhythms. It explores race, identity, morality, and ambition in ways that feel fresh and unflinching. Mohamed’s writing, paired with Kerry Washington’s bold creative influence, gives the series a cinematic polish and a cultural resonance that sets it apart from the typical network procedural.

Season 3 left audiences with more questions than answers and a few emotional gut punches that are still being unpacked. The Season 4 renewal gives the creative team a chance to push Jax’s story even further, expanding the show’s universe and deepening the stakes for everyone involved. Expect more ethical dilemmas, more personal revelations, and plenty of heat inside and outside the courtroom.

This show has always been about complexity, the gray areas where justice and truth intersect, and where power dynamics shift in unexpected ways. With Mohamed’s sharp pen and Corinealdi’s commanding presence, there’s every reason to believe Season 4 will continue to evolve the series in surprising and satisfying directions.

No release date has been confirmed yet, but fans can rest easy knowing that Jax Stewart will be back in action, ready to take on new challenges, confront old ghosts, and remind everyone why Reasonable Doubt remains one of the smartest and most stylish dramas on television.

Stay tuned for updates as production ramps up, and in the meantime, revisit the first three seasons to see where it all began. Reasonable Doubt is far from finished, and that’s very good news.
