After walking away from the successful FOX superhero show, Gotham, Jada Pinkett Smith returns with a brand new series for A+E Studios, Murder Town.
The show, which Pinkett Smith will star and executive produce, centers on a beautiful and complicated prosecutor (Pinkett Smith) who makes history as Wilmington, Delaware’s, first African-American District Attorney. She finds herself confronted by old loyalties and loves, a shocking revelation about her murdered husband and a polarizing, racially-charged case that threatens to burn her and her city to the ground.
Written by veteran showrunner Barry Schindel (Intelligence, Castle) based on an original script by Rob Fresco, Murder Town is the first sale for an outside network.
