After his solid turn in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards, Brad Pitt is returning to the war, onscreen, in the first footage from David Ayer’s upcoming World War II thriller Fury.
The clip, which debuted today during E3 as part of the presentation for the new game “World of Tanks,” tells the story of a set of soldiers at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Fury stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs.
Fury hits the big screen November 14.
