Black Reel Awards winner Viola Davis continues to expand her diverse roles. The talented actress is negotiating to play the female lead in an untitled Michael Mann film.
The untitled film will star Chris Hemsworth as the male lead in the thriller about cyber crime, which is set to begin shooting in China next month. Mann co-wrote the script, which features details currently under wraps.
Earlier this year, Davis appeared opposite Jeremy Irons in Beautiful Creatures and recently wrapped two films, Prisoners and Ender’s Game, both set for fall releases.
