Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview: 3 Dangerous New Beginnings
Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview finds Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) in an unfamiliar position. For a man who has spent most of his life taking what he wants, watching everything he’s built slip through his fingers isn’t something he handles particularly well. Governor Amanda Clark has effectively brought his businesses to a standstill, millions in bourbon have been destroyed, and the New York mob is preparing to collect money Dwight no longer has.
And just when things couldn’t get much worse, everyone around him seems to have a new idea about how to make a buck.
In “Square One,” Mitch and Spencer pursue an opportunity that could change their fortunes, Bodhi gets deeper into the counterfeit business, and Tyson begins exploring an entirely different kind of hustle. Whether any of these ventures will help Dwight or create another set of headaches remains to be seen.

Back to Square One
The Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview picks up after one of the worst weeks Dwight has experienced since arriving in Oklahoma. Governor Clark (Gretchen Mol) didn’t need a gun or hired muscle to cripple his operation. A few inspections, some regulatory pressure, and suddenly the General’s carefully constructed business empire was coming apart.
The destruction of Montague 50 was especially painful. Dwight had invested considerable time and money into turning the bourbon into something legitimate, only to watch the state destroy millions of dollars in product while Joanne struggled to hold herself together.
Then there’s Quiet Ray. The New York boss doesn’t seem particularly interested in Dwight’s financial problems. He wants his money, and with Turco apparently headed to Tulsa, another confrontation feels inevitable.
For Dwight, the question isn’t whether he can fight back. We’ve seen him do that plenty of times. It’s whether he can find a way out without making an already bad situation worse.
Mitch and Spencer | A Horse Worth Betting On?
Sometimes the best opportunities arrive when nobody’s looking for them.
While Dwight’s businesses are being shut down, Mitch (Garrett Hedlund) and Spencer have stumbled onto something interesting at Margaret’s ranch: a promising two-year-old thoroughbred that might have a future on the racetrack.
Mitch has already negotiated a deal for ten percent of the horse’s potential winnings, and the official synopsis for “Square One” suggests that the pair may be preparing for something bigger.
The Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview finds this storyline particularly intriguing because it offers a welcome change of pace. Not every business opportunity in Dwight’s world has to involve stolen merchandise, questionable partnerships, or somebody getting shot.
There’s also something meaningful about the location. Margaret’s ranch remains one of Dwight’s few personal connections to the woman he’s still mourning. If Mitch and Spencer can turn the property into something successful, it might give Dwight a reason to look toward the future rather than remain trapped in his grief.
Of course, this is Tulsa King. A good opportunity rarely stays uncomplicated for long.
Bodhi | From Vintage Wine to Counterfeit Profits
The Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview finds Bodhi (Martin Starr) turning his attention toward another unconventional business opportunity, proving once again that he may be the smartest entrepreneur in Dwight’s increasingly complicated organization.
His discovery that Leonardo Timpone was selling counterfeit vintage wine opened the door to an unexpected business opportunity. Now Bodhi appears ready to take that idea further.
The irony is difficult to miss.
Dwight has spent much of the season insisting that his organization needs to become legitimate. Meanwhile, one of his most trusted associates is preparing to make money through a counterfeit operation.
It may be profitable, but with Governor Clark already looking for reasons to shut down anything connected to Dwight, another questionable enterprise could be exactly what the organization doesn’t need.
Still, Bodhi has proven that he can recognize opportunities others overlook. The question is whether his latest idea is clever enough to succeed without attracting the wrong kind of attention.
Tyson | Trading the Streets for the Studio?
One of the more surprising developments in the Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview involves Tyson (Jay Will), who appears ready to trade his dangerous adventures on the streets for something entirely different: a possible career in rap music.
His recent track record certainly hasn’t been encouraging. The unauthorized drug operation led to contaminated ecstasy, a violent confrontation with English Dan, and a shooting that left Goodie’s valuable Luger at the crime scene.
Tyson keeps insisting that he’s ready for greater responsibility, but his actions suggest otherwise.
Music could offer him a chance to develop an identity outside the organization. Then again, Tyson has a habit of confusing ambition with good judgment, and there’s no guarantee that his latest interest will be any different.
What makes this storyline worth following is the possibility that Tyson might finally begin growing up. He’s spent enough time learning the wrong lessons from Dwight. Perhaps it’s time he started figuring out who he wants to be.
What to Watch | Three New Directions
The Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview highlights three storylines worth watching as Dwight’s organization attempts to recover from its latest setbacks: the General’s next move, his associates’ unconventional business opportunities, and Tyson’s search for a new direction.
Dwight’s Next Move: With his bourbon business devastated and Quiet Ray demanding payment, Dwight needs more than another intimidating speech. He needs a workable plan, preferably one that doesn’t create three new enemies.
Mitch and Bodhi’s Opportunities: A promising racehorse and a counterfeit wine operation couldn’t be more different, but both offer potential financial lifelines. Whether either venture delivers is another matter.
Tyson’s Musical Ambitions: Could music finally give Tyson a purpose beyond proving himself to Dwight? After his recent mistakes, a change of direction might be exactly what he needs.
Why Square One Matters
The Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 4 Preview suggests that “Square One” is less concerned with another traditional Mafia confrontation and more interested in what happens when the people surrounding Dwight begin pursuing ambitions of their own.
Mitch sees potential in a horse. Bodhi sees money in counterfeit wine. Tyson sees an opportunity in music. None of these ideas necessarily fits into Dwight’s original plan, but that’s what makes them interesting.
The General has always been the center of this organization, the man everyone looks to when something goes wrong. But his people are changing, and their individual ambitions could eventually reshape the operation in ways he never anticipated.
Meanwhile, Dwight still has a governor determined to drive him out of Oklahoma, a New York mob boss demanding payment, and a financial disaster that won’t disappear simply because he refuses to acknowledge defeat.
He’s been knocked down before. The difference this time is that getting back up may require more than doing what he’s always done.
And for a man like Dwight Manfredi, that might be the hardest lesson of all.
