This week on the BIG show, Black Reel Award-winning writer/director, Ava DuVernay (Middle of Nowhere) returns to discuss her latest project, the upcoming documentary, Venus Vs.
The film follows the tennis superstar Venus Williams’ off-court activism, which includes her fight for the issue of prize-money pay equality in her sport. The doc, which will be a part of ESPN’s summer series, Nine for IV, will debut on July 2.
