As we await the release of the dystopian action sequel, Insurgent, here is a look at the film’s beautiful co-star, Zoë Kravitz, who has been blessed with the three attributes that her fans love, beauty, brains and incredible talent.
That Zoë is talented is a given . . . especially when your parents are a former Cosby kid and a bad-boy rocker. The daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, the 26-year old Black Reel Award nominee made her film debut opposite Catherine Zeta Jones in No Reservations and has slowly built an impressive filmmography.
She followed that with The Brave One and got her first big break playing Angel Salvadore in the sensational superhero film, X-Men: First Class. Zoë also displayed her sexy during a season of the Showtime drama, Californication. She also appeared in the disappointing sci-fi film, After Earth.
Lately, Zoë has garnered critical acclaim for playing Christina in the Divergent franchise. She’ll reprise her the role in the upcoming sequel, Insurgent. Also, look for Zoë as the principle love interest in the upcoming Rick Famiyuwa comedy, Dope, opening in theaters in June.
Recently, Zoë returned to her Miami roots for a beautiful spread in Ocean Drive where she discusses her own paths in both of her parents fields, acting and music fronting her electro-glitch-pop trio Lolawolf.
