In the latest edition of Eye Candy, we feature a young lady who should familiar to many but still remains in obscurity, Ilfenesh Hadera. With the release of Baywatch, that should change very soon.
In her latest film, Hadera plays Stephanie Holden, the love interest, and second-in-charge to the Dwayne Johnson’s Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch. But for many fans who are just discovering this leggy beauty have not noticed her slow steady climb.
Earlier this year, Hadera completed the second season of Showtime’s popular series, Billions and was cast as a hard-working FBI and the lead in the upcoming ABC series, Deception opposite Jack Cutmore-Scott.
The versatile 31-year New York native cut her teeth television on shows such as The Blacklist, Show Me a Hero, and Chicago Fire. Always possessing a keen eye for talent, director Spike Lee cast Hadera in several projects including Da Brick, Oldboy, and Chi-Raq.
Something tells me that this actress of Ethiopian descent will continue to be much in demand both on the big screen.
