The Weinstein Company is quietly positioning itself to make major noise this awards season. They have released the second of what should be several posters for the upcoming historical epic, The Butler.
Directed by Lee Daniels, the film is inspired by a true story, which focuses on an African-American man, Eugene Allen, who served as a butler in the White House for eight presidents from 1952 to 1986. Over the course of the film, the audience will see major events which changed our nation, such as the Civil Rights Movement and the Vietnam War, and the toll they took on the man and his family from a vantage point never before explored.
