What is it with iconic character, Samuel L. Jackson and . . . hair? In the upcoming film, Oldboy, Jackson once again creates his own style rocking a blond mohawk for the proceedings.
Over the course of his career, Jackson has rocked jheri curls (Pulp Fiction), old man style (Black Snake Moan), salt-and-pepper afro (The Deep Blue Sea), cornrows (Formula 51), and a pony-tail AND thin braided beard (Jackie Brown).
Director Spike Lee directed the film from a script penned by Mark Protosevich, who is also co-producing, along with Roy Lee, Doug Davison and Nathan Kahane of Good Universe.
Lee’s much-anticipated adaptation stars Josh Brolin, Sharlto Copley, Elizabeth Olsen and the aforementioned Jackson. The film has been pushed back and will now open on Thanksgiving weekend, November 27.
