The latest film from Emmy Award-winning actress, Viola Davis’ production company, JuVee Productions has released a short film, The Brink, earlier today. Could the company’s strategy serve as a launching pad for emerging filmmakers?
The Brink focuses on two stranded survivors in an endless wasteland who clash as they unravel the truth of what lead them to the brink. Ben Jendras directs the film from a script by Kaylon Hunt, who also stars, along with Marcus Choi and Diarra Kilpatrick.
Davis and her husband Julius Tennon formed JuVee Productions in 2012. The recent Charles Stone III revenge thriller, Lila & Eve was produced under their banner.
