Less than two months away for the release of David E. Talbert’s upcoming holiday family comedy, Almost Christmas, the latest trailer has been released online.
The film tells the story of a dysfunctional family that gathers together on Christmas for the first time since their mother died. Their beloved patriarch asks his family for one gift this holiday season: to get along. If they can honor that wish and spend five days under the same roof without killing one another, it will be a Christmas miracle.
Written and directed by Talbert, the film stars Kimberly Elise, Mo’Nique, Nicole Ari Parker, Gabrielle Union, Jessie Usher, Danny Glover, Omar Epps, and Romany Malco.
Initially titled, A Meyers Thanksgiving, Almost Christmas opens in theaters on November 11, 2016.
