This week on Reel Shorts, January is back as aging action icons, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger turn back the clock in the boring prison drama, Escape Plan.

Ray Breslin (Stallone) is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test.
He’s framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars.
Escape Plan is directed by Swedish filmmaker Mikael Håfström, and written by Miles Chapman and Jason Keller and stars Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, 50 Cent, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Amy Ryan.
Grade: C-
i thoroughly enjoyed this movie, especially after watching the intense 12 Years a Slave movie the nite before. I’d rate Escape Plan with at least a B and i’d see it again.
