Earlier this morning, People Magazine named Gwyneth Paltrow their Most Beautiful Person in the World. Our personal pick, Rosario Dawson has to settle for the adoration of her fans and now a new role in an Untitled Chris Rock film.
Dawson has signed on to play the female lead in his upcoming untitled comedy, which marks Rock’s third feature film as writer-director. While the plot details are not yet available, it is being reported that the film takes place in New York City and pokes some fun at show business.
Rock’s previous writing and directing projects include Head of State and his remake of Eric Rohmer’s Chloe in the Afternoon, I Think I Love My Wife.
The 33-year old Dawson continues to strengthen her strong filmography after appearing in films such as Kids, Men in Black II, 25th Hour, Sin City, Clerks II, Rent, Death Proof, The Rundown, Eagle Eye, Alexander, Seven Pounds, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Unstoppable. Next up, Dawson is set to reprise her role as Gail in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
